He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Following his training, Dr. Garretson returned to Clarkston, where he quickly distinguished himself working alongside top ophthalmology groups, developing a strong foundation in ocular disease management and surgical co-management.
